The EPA's new regulation to reduce lead paint dust took effect April 22. The regulation requires contractors working on homes, child-care facilities and schools built before 1978 to be trained and EPA certified in handling lead paint. Contractors can be fined up to $37,000 a day if they fail to comply. Zaremba Named PIA National Young Insurance Professional of the Year
Seth Zaremba, president of Zinc Insurance in Broadview Heights, Ohio and a PIA volunteer since 2004, has been named PIA National's 2010 Young Insurance Professional of the Year. The award, which recognizes outstanding achievement by a young insurance professional, was presented to Zaremba during a luncheon ceremony on March, 20 in Arlington, Virginia.
